The Shuswap Lake Health Care Auxiliary Annual Spring Garage Sales will be at the Piccadilly Mall from March 31 to April 1. Donations may be made at the mall from March 28 to 30 from 10am to 4pm or March 31 from 10am to 1pm.
Come by the mall on March 31 from 3pm to 8pm or April 1 from 10am to 3pm. There will also be a book sale, bake sale and silent auction!

Robert ‘Bob’ Burechailo was born and raised in rural Saskatchewan. He attended the U.of S. in Saskatoon and received his B.Sc. in 1969 and M.D. Degree in 1974. Bob moved to Salmon Arm with his wife and family in 1975 and joined the Shuswap Medical group as a general practitioner. After 25 years, he shifted gears and spent the last 10 years of his medical career as a medical locum. This took him to various communities in B.C., Newfoundland and P.E.I. A donation of $17,785.34 was presented to President Doug Murray and Vice President Rob Marshall by Shuswap Lake Health-Care Auxiliary President, Edie Swanson and her fellow Auxiliary members. This amount represents the funding that was required to complete the fund raising goal for the CT Scan Upgrade that was recently installed at Shuswap Lake General Hospital.
