was a local boy born on the family farm at Grindrod. He worked for a number of years in forestry and eventually opened a chain saw business in Salmon Arm. This business became “Wild Woodsman Equipment”. It also spawned “Cardinal Rentals” a successful equipment rental business. After retirement Stanley enjoyed taking care of his garden and acreage in Grindrod known to locals as Stanley’s Park.
