An office is located within the hospital just past the Main Entrance. Two support staff assist the volunteer Board of Directors in the day to day operations of the foundation. Costs of operation, including campaign costs, are generally met by interest earned on investments held by the foundation.
President Chris is the dealer principal/owner at Braby Motors where he has worked for 15 years. He is a Rotarian committed to ensuring local healthcare is accessible in Salmon Arm. Past President Dr. Lorenz joined the SHF Board in 2016. He is a full-service family physician at Mount Ida Medical Clinic and Senior Medical Director for the Shuswap region. Vice President Attorney who joined the board in 2021. Previously involved with charitable hockey tournaments and community fundraising initiatives.
