Here We Grow……a new CT Scanner and Mammography Unit
Shuswap Hospital Foundation has launched their campaign to raise $3.3 million for the funding of a new replacement CT Scanner and a Mammography Unit for the Medical Imaging area at Shuswap Lake General Hospital.
The new CT Scanner will have the latest technology which will assist in providing a 24/7 service for regular and emergency needs. The Mammography Unit will be part of the creation of a new mammography screening and diagnostic program at Shuswap Lake General Hospital allowing patients to receive the complete scope of mammography services here in Salmon Arm as opposed to travelling out of town for diagnostic services.
Our goal is to raise $3.3 million to fund this exciting new project……and the great news is that we have already raised $2.2 million through the generosity of the estates of Don Hilton, Geoffrey Collins, Robert Haney, Evelyn Painter and an anonymous donor.
