was born in Toronto but moved to Victoria to attend Royal Roads Military College. He met his wife Ramona there and he entered the life insurance profession. He moved through his career and eventually retired to Salmon Arm. Jim loved to spend time at the cottage, sailing, boating, woodworking and visiting with neighbours. He enjoyed his computer and corresponded with family and friends and researching investments.
